Death Valley, California October 20 - 26, 2024

$1,500.00

DEPOSIT $1500 (balance of $4380 due March 20, 2024) TOTAL trip fee $5880

Join me in one of our most spectacular and amazing National Parks, DEATH VALLEY. This incredible location is filled with superlatives like

  • soaring sand dunes

  • huge mountains over 11.000 feet

  • the lowest point in North America, at 282 feet below sea level

  • star-gazing and Milky Way viewing in one of the darkest “dark sky” locations in the world

  • and much more!

It is a photographer’s paradise and we will see it all.

AND I’m adding a special treat! Because it is one of the world’s highest rated dark sky locations, I have invited my good friend and astrophotography expert Temu Nana of Open Sky Expeditions to be our visiting expert on night sky photography. Temu’s knowledge and experience are world-class, and he will guide us through all the steps needed to create stunning star and Milky Way photography.

And another special option (for an additional fee of $995) is a post-trip extension to the nearby Alabama Hills, October 26-28, 2024. This area is famous for photogenic rock arches, high mountains all around surrounding Mt. Whitney, the highest mountain in the continental US. So adding this post-trip extension means you will be photographing at the lowest and highest points in our country. It is rare to capture those two extremes in one trip!
