Charleston is one of the most genteel and historic cities in the south. Known for its lovely historic homes, impressive churches, nearby plantations, and calm southern charm, this is a photo trip not to be missed. We will tour the historic district with its exquisite facades, lovely ironwork, narrow streets and alleys, and of course the famous City Market. The architecture and street scenes will get your creative juices flowing.
Add to that a delightful day at the nearby plantations that have been restored to their former glory, with expansive grounds filled with huge moss-draped trees and beautiful plants. We will also visit historic Fort Sumter with its photogenic stone walls and fortifications, and the huge and famous Angel Tree.
You will learn new techniques and creative approaches, while enjoying this charming city and its world class restaurants. This is the perfect time of year to be there, with comfortable temperatures and no crowds of tourists yet.
